Samcon is proud to announce our successful tender and delivery of a significant Australian build program of locomotives for our Tier One client base. Along with the winning of this work we also worked with the client to update and upgrade the drawings – so irrespective of which company would do the work in the future, it would be much easier for any company to follow and produce a timely and quality product anywhere across Australia. This service was used to help our client with the limitations of drawings and in some cases the significant lack of clarity for the build program.

Further to this the Client has provided a Letter of Recommendation to Samcon for our desire to exceed expectations and work extremely close with our partner base. We believe this is extremely critical to secure a cost base reduction and partner with our Client base to ensure the Australian Manufacturing stays competitive in this increased global market place.

Bogie Overhaul

Samcon has recently partnered with our sister company and an expert in all aspects of wagons in National Rollingstock Services (NRS) and won two distinct and significant orders from our Tier One client base. This represents and significant increase in our scope and further integrates our unique “Integrated Solutions” ethos with our core rail customers.

Currently our operations are rolling out 8 fully overhauled bogies per week with our skilled and experienced team of bogie professionals.
