Fabrication

Samcon has recently won several large orders with Tier One Engineering and our Fabrication Division now operates out of three specific workshops with a team of 30 experienced TIG and MIG welders.

Fabrication obviously needs a specific set of skills, specialised equipment, flexibility in layout and a systemised approach.

At Samcon we can fabricate from 1mm thick sheet metal to 150mm thick plate. We can manufacture all curvature and box fabrications, square to rounds, hoppers, tanks, pressure vessels, guards and panels. Materials including aluminium, stainless steel, cast iron, copper titanium and mild steel can be welded by our qualified & certified tradespeople on each procedure. We also operate a robotic welder for high volume products.

All welding is certified by accredited bodies and we only employ qualified welders using both robotic and manual welding processes.
